Making a link to a Google map

To get a hyperlink to a point on a Google map:
  1. In the box in Google Maps, enter the postcode.
  2. Copy just part of the long line of text in the address box (above)
Note: A UK postcode alone is often not enough to identify a place, so you typically see the name of the local town added too (e.g. Buckingham). You don't need the information about longitude and latitude (51 - 52 degrees).
